Dee is also a best selling author and a multi-nationally respected authority on the art of self creation for over 30 years. We discuss her new book, BORN in which she expands the concept of the Laws of Attraction.

Wednesday Jun 08, 2022
"About one in five women 40 to 59 and one in four women ages 60 and over used antidepressants....in 2015 through 2018." Why So Many Women in Middle Age are on Antidepressants, The Wall Street Journal, April 2, 2022
We wanted to know why the use of antidepressants is so widespread. We invited Psychiatrist Dr. Swapna Vaidya to be our guest this week. Dr. Vaidya details the factors that cause increased stress for midlife women as well as the hormonal imbalances that increase in the time in Perminenopause. This combinsation can create a perfect storm for anxiety, depression and mental struggles for women over 40.
Dr. Vaidya discusses when it is appropriate for antidepressants to be prescribed (some common ones are effexor, lexapro, prozac and zoloft) and which antidepressants may best work under several different circumstances. Please always check with your doctor before beginning any medication.
