Doris Day, MD, is a highly respected board certified dermatologist who specializes in cosmetic dermatology in New York City. She is a clinical associate professor of dermatology at the New York University Medical Center.

Dr. Thurston is recognized nationally as a leader in the field of women’s health, particularly in the areas of menopause, trauma, cardiovascular disease, and brain aging in women. Her research examines hot flashes as a potential midlife marker of underlying risk for CVD, the leading cause of death in women. Her research also extends to consider hot flashes as well as poor sleep in relation to brain aging and dementia risk in women.
